grivna1726
WOW Wicked awesome Poltina too!! Thank you. I am glad you like them. Of the various portraits of Peter I seen on his coins, the design used on the 1707 poltinnik is my favorite. On to 1706...

Vfox
It took us over a year, but we are nearly into the 1600's and have passed the 300 year old mark. I have to admit I am surprised we got this far, but very pleased that we did...loads of great coins! 1703?
ElleKitty
This is such a fun thread, let's keep it going! 1697, 1690, 1681 and 1667 waiting in the wings!

I have to admit I am surprised we got this far, but very pleased that we did...loads of great coins! 1703? Really average it out a little less then 1 a day, so not a bad average. Only two left for me are 1696 and 1661.

grivna1726
1702 Russian Peter I poltina. Wonderful poltina!!! ;) And super grivna, squirrel! Here is a 1700 denga... Now who has a 1699 pattern poltina?
Mark Stilson
Always thought that taler looked like some pirate saying "AAAARRGGHHH" But that is in beautiful shape.
worldcoinguy
Now who has a 1699 pattern poltina? No poltinas, but I do have one more Hall taler from Austria dated 1699: This thread is accelerating quickly today....
worldcoinguy
1698 - German taler from Osnabruck - 1 year issue. Interestingly, the date on this taler is a chronogram, which is the date spelled in roman numerals within the legend around the reverse of the coin. I am getting close to the end of my contributions for awhile.
