  1. I have encountered dragon dollars that were about 1/2 gram overweight. Haven't yet gotten to weigh any Sze. Han dollars.
  2. Thanks for sharing! First time I've seen a gold yen
  3. The big question is whether the piece is mint or near-mint, or if it's well circulated. In the latter case, a color difference could be from the alloy, or from some sort of chemical treatment / damage, and so there likely wouldn't be a premium, if at all. In the former example, there would likely be some value, but this seems to be a somewhat obscure item, so putting a value may be a bit difficult.
  4. Maybe I'm in the wrong part of the world, but the only coins I get offered at pawn shops tend to be mis-identified, overgraded, and/or overpriced Flea markets for me have been mostly stuff that was spot-on, or on the high side.
  5. A pair of Hawaii Volcano quarters. They're kind of neat.
  6. Contact the ANA - they can likely supply you with a list of member dealers in your area.
  7. A die rotation on any 1967 coin would be an error (except for the dollars and halves, which are suspect)
  8. Do you have a scale to weigh it with? The metal looks a bit odd, though that may be the lighting
  9. Were they uniface due to a intention to have them mounted onto something?
  10. Interesting variation on the usual coin boxes!
  11. Here's mine. First difference I spot is difference in size of the os in CENTos and Dos
  12. I've seen cents and nickels, but that's the first dime I've seen for the Columbian!
  13. All I can say it that it looks a bit crude, especially the rim.
  14. Try calling if you're not getting an email response and want to discuss first. Auction houses generally post their conditions and terms, and it's not unusual for a consignor to send items with a packing slip, any instructions they may have (e.g. reserve) and contact info.
