  2. Welcome to CoinPeople. It's nice to hear about your Dad and his work. Sorry about the theft that you suffered. It's all to common a story, I'm afraid.

  8. I have to agree. The Canadian coins are very nice and I especially like some of their series, like the trains. It's just that they issue so many different coins each year. It would be hard to keep up.
  9. OK here's the next item for identification. london 1989 324.jpg by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr
  10. I used to collect US Commemorative Coins but gave it up about 5 years ago. I prefer the Classical Commemorative myself. Also started a nice set of 2 Euro commems but the specialty coins made that unattractive for me rather quickly.

  15. Welcome to CoinPeople. I hope that you enjoy it here. Great medal!!
  16. Pretty bad picture but a very interesting design. All I know if that the conductor on the bus told me it was some sort of "Public Housing". Any ideas? london 1989 223.jpg by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr
  17. Germany should be a lot of fun to collect. I have a number of old German coins and enjoy them very much. Many can be found in "junk bins", especially at coin shows. Best of luck and keep us updated on your finds and such.
  18. Hello Robert and welcome to CoinPeople. Sorry that I cannot be of help but hopefully someone will come along who can.
