I'm starting the planning for PCI2013. I've asked Anton to create the forum and sub-forum that will be needed - should be done in the next week or so. Sometime this week I'll start a thread on category ideas and entry rules. So put those thinking caps on.

Interesting. I've never cracked a coin our of its slab and have no plans to do so in the future but that's still some good advice to be aware of. Thanks.

Interesting find. I wonder if they are real.

Can't tell much. Most likely the first is a filled die. Metal particles or grease crammed into the little spaces. Second ? -- could be a crack in the die?

Nice examples. This is interesting coinage. I believe I have an East African ten center in my collection but no photo and I'm not sure if it's here or at the bank.

Nice finds everyone. I have nothing these days. Of course it seems that I rarely get change anymore, perhaps because I do very little purchasing myself.

It is really neat and for $18 a great bargain.
