Scottishmoney
set it aside and hope for a bunch of more of those gifts and get me a 1892 10 Gulden from The Netherlands. I want another one of the Young Wilhelmina 10 Gulden coins, I had several that I had to sell several years ago. Now that I have the means, do you think I can find one nice enough - NOT
Conder101
Cheapside has a couple of Conder tokens I can use, and add them to the two I just ordered from Bill McKivor and that should pretty much take care of it. Or would it be OK to use it to pay off about 2/3rd of the bill for the tokens I won in the last DNW auction?

Tiffibunny
Gold? Who needs it!! I could certainly use one of those. I wouldn't want to waste money on one quite that nice though. It's just going to go in a Dansco anyway.
Sir Sisu
The nicest silver 5 zlotych (1925) that I could find. Wow, I didn't expect everyone to blow the wad on one thing. I don't know if I can bring myself to do that. For me, if I received the money as a gift, I would like to get only 1 (2 tops) coin. It would be easier to remember and appreciate the fact that it was a gift.

Ætheling
I'd be looking at something from the 1700s myself... but then i would. You have to make your own decisions here Tiff, sure i could tell you what to buy that would suit me, but somehow i don't think a George III guinea would be as popular with you. I don't think you'd rate the design much.
Tiffibunny
Nah, I'm just seeing what everyone would do with it that's all. I've already purchased a few things.
Scottishmoney
Seriously there is a very nice Bosporus gold Stater in the Triton sale that is affordable even at $550. Just may happen.

joanjet
I would probably spend it at the mint for all the things I buy every year: Proof Eagles, Mint Sets, Proof Sets, Silver Proof Sets, Golden Dollars, Quarter and Nickel Rolls, and the Commems.
