  1. Here's another Pilgrim celebration goody. <a href=" title="PS03 PHILYMPIA 1970 2 by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1436/4724438708_160a4361f5_z.jpg" width="608" height="464" alt="PS03 PHILYMPIA 1970 2" /></a>
  2. Checked a few times in the past week or so. Found nothing.
  3. More nice animal notes. It's certainly an interesting collecting theme.
  4. Picked up a few Jeffersons for my Registry Sets. 1954-S MS64 PCGS (great even golden color) <a href=" title="1954S MS64 obv by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4012/5140109955_8f0f004054.jpg" width="254" height="255" alt="1954S MS64 obv" /></a><a href=" title="1954S MS64 rev by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4090/5140109929_9c729b452c.jpg" width="254" height="247" alt="1954S MS64 rev" /></a> Terrible steps. 1994-S PR69DCAM PCGS <a href=" title="1994S PR69DCAM obv by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1069/5140716494_7c8883dd31.jpg" width="302" height="309" alt="1994S PR69DCAM obv" /></a><a href=" title="1994S PR69DCAM rev by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4088/5140716452_4486b512da.jpg" width="302" height="300" alt="1994S PR69DCAM rev" /></a> Pics are poor. I'll have to redo them along with the rest of my collection as soon as I learn how to get acceptable shots through the slabs.
  5. Got a few new Roosies today. They're much nicer than the pics (ebay seller's) indicate. I am going to have to get my act together and learn to photograph my coins. 1965 SMS MS67 PCGS <a href=" title="1965 SMS MS67 obv by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1169/5140097935_c66292aed9.jpg" width="254" height="254" alt="1965 SMS MS67 obv" /></a><a href=" title="1965 SMS MS67 rev by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4035/5140700908_3002c2bb9d.jpg" width="254" height="254" alt="1965 SMS MS67 rev" /></a> 1981P MS64FB PCGS <a href=" title="1981P MS64FB obv by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4056/5140705148_2523eb331c.jpg" width="254" height="246" alt="1981P MS64FB obv" /></a><a href=" title="1981P MS64FB rev by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1247/5140705116_0a47f47e3a.jpg" width="254" height="252" alt="1981P MS64FB rev" /></a>
  6. Nice notes. The colors and animal pics on most are terrific.
  7. I got my 2008 Presidential Dollars in today's mail. So now my Registry Set (see below) is at 100% for inventory and all PR69DCAM coins. <a href="http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/registry/coins/MySets_Listing.aspx?PeopleSetID=115439"><img src="http://boards.collectors-society.com/signatures/signature.php/NGC/set/115439/sig.jpg"></a>
  8. Here's a nice BEP Souvenir Sheet with the back of US $10000 Federal Reserve Note featuring the Landing of the Pilgrims. It was the largest denomination note ever issued for general circulation. Also on the card is a block of the 5 cents stamps commemorating the 300th Anniversary of the Landing of the Pilgrims. <a href=" title="B100 1986 DCSE 10000 FRN wstamps by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3297/4566421179_84633205e6.jpg" width="500" height="379" alt="B100 1986 DCSE 10000 FRN wstamps" /></a> I'll get a more detailed scan on this sheet and replace the above image.
  9. Beautiful additions to your collection. I especially like the Texas coins.
  10. Interesting that Nicaragua has the two 50's with different orientations.
  11. You might get more focus on your request if you started a new thread with your question. Place the thread in the Banknotes section of the "What's it worth" sections. People also respond better if the person asking tells us something about themselves. Are you a collector? Inherited the note? Found the note? Interesting stories always get more attention. Good luck with your question -------
  12. Nice Egyptian notes. The Curacao article was quite interesting and new news to me. Thanks.
  13. \ Congrats on the win. Looking forward to seeing it.
  14. I like the commemorative coins both modern and classic. The "swindler" history of some of them gives them great history in addition to what they commemorate. I had once set out to learn and collect a date set of Commems but gave it up. Just too expensive for my budget.
  15. A 6d in the bride's shoe is supposed to bring blessings to the marriage.
  16. Find a penny pick it up and all the day you'll have good luck.
  17. Two dollar bills are considered tainted because 2 bucks was the basic bet at the race tracks and so "decent" people wouldn't want to be seen with twos.
  18. I for one am always interested in seeing notes from other folks collections. They're beautiful and fun.
