The online world is nothing if not serendipitous. I just wrapped my April column for Numismatist and I did not get to explain how I discovered COINS ON STAMPS. There are hundreds of commemorative stamps that tout coins (and banknotes). I was actually searching for MATHEMATICS ON STAMPS at the local store when I found all these "coins" on Greek stamps. Figures, right? old times there are not forgotten. So, I started a thread here and thereby attracted the attention of Attila Kovacs who has probably the best "Coins on Stamps" site in the world.
