I also bought one of each just for my site but they are circulated. I couldn't find any 50s???

Oh, these are borrowed scans. I'd love to have the serial no. on the first one.

I love the piano on the reverse of the 100.

But most of all... how it says "banknote" on them. It makes me crack up. :ninja:

Aaaaaaaaaah, tricked me.

That is kinda funny,though.

a definate must-have series. i picked most of mine up from shwarz-a on e-bay. in fact, he has a hologrammed 50 for sale right now.

if you want to match the rest of your notes, i'm pretty sure he has the older non-hologrammed one if you asked. :ninja:

While browsing here at CoinPeople, started smelling a weird, burning smell... :ninja:

So I immediately went downstairs, to find that the lights didn't work anymore.

Fuse blown.

I went to my living room, following the scent and ended up in front of the TV. Tried to swich that on, but the main switch was stuck.....

Aparently when I switched it off, last night, it wasn't completely off and electricity was creating sparks inside the swich, heating up the switch and welding it.

So I took the TV, opened it (I'm an electrician, by education) and found my assumptin to be true, a burnt switch.

Now why on earth wuold I post that here????

When I took the TV off it's place (first time in 7 years) I found a german 20 Mark banknote, just as the one MisterMcDoo posted above ;)

Only mine is not UNC.

OK, off to replace that switch now....

where's my soldering iron?
