  1. From a friend. Despite the denominations being sort of low, this set cost me a little over $100. The Bahriani Dinar has a strong exchange rate.
  2. Exactly the same manner that I got mine...I think he was targeting golfing collectors as opposed to note collectors...oh well, at least it was cheap.
  3. Big month for me...I think i'll cool down with buying for a while after all this.
  4. Thanks,Mike. I took that offer too, i've seen them sell for over $40 a peice on the regular auctions!
  5. Yep, it's one of the new ones. The bank got robbed by the IRA and they had to change the colours on the notes. Here's some new stuff: Romania - New series, from ebay. Syria - 1973 And now... (Here's a big one!!!) Barrwed scan, mine is JUST as nice! It's a Saudi 10 Riyals from 1961. Books at $275 in UNC.
  6. I'm currently winning a bid for a Nickalus 5 Pounder...look on ebay, there's TONS of 'em!
  7. Mine showed up today. Thanks to Art for the great project! Oh do I have the prefect note for next year...just wait and see...
  8. Post a picture! I haven't seen one of these myself...
  9. The 2 Kina! Beautiful pair, i'd be dissapointed if it lost. Wait, if Ben's note wins, who gets the prize?
  10. Haha! Cool. Oh, it's been guessed already? Ok well if this hasn't been guessed then I guess 29th July. Think it's possible they could've been lost in the mail? (Hope not)
  11. New stuff bought off ebay: Greece Nepal
  12. Still not there? Let's go with my birthday July 19.
  13. I never knew Venna as a Snake, but I did know her, as part of a contest, and oh, what a contest it was. People would make up a eulogy for the dearly departed. Even though nobody who entered had ever seen the Snake in person. Fun times, indeed. RIP.
