Just tell me about one of your good days. I'll draw a winner on Monday.

Entry Deadline: Monday at 7pm CST.

Good luck.

And sorry for the terrible pic, I've been experimenting and I'm not quite liking the results. :ninja:

My best day ever was Dec 13th 2004.

Everything went perfectly as planned and at the end of the day I had a beautiful little Girl. BTW anyone know the trick to get them to stop growing?, I like her just the way she is now.

:ninja:

I was a small small little kid and I was in Japan for holidays.

On this very day, my parent's friend brought me around some areas to tour my brothers and I around. What was interesting was that there happened to be a pond, and there is a saying that if one was to wash their money in the pond, they would get rich.

For some bizarre reasons, I did not have any changes with me so I actually borrowed ONE YEN off from my brother. I was laughing while washing that one yen, thinking that can't be possible.

Later that evening, we went to a restuarant and planned to have dinner. But little did I expect it to be a restuarant where people can freely smoke. The tables were full, and we had to sit with some other smokers.

Of course, I hate the smell of smoke, (hey I *was* small at that time), and gave some sort of disapproval sign. It seemed that the men right beside was actually nice enough to put off the smoke, get out from the table, apologized and actually left 1000yen on the table and told me to use it.

I was of course shocked over it - obviously the rest of the family members were yelling !@##$$#@%#&^%* over me for being "impolite".

Later when I thought about this event, I laughed over how much that 1 yen that I washed in the pond helped to increase by 1000 fold. Not a bad idea indeed  Ironically enough, I kept both the note and the coin as a memorial event. Probably going to have that buried with me... :ninja:

Nov. 8th 2003.....I Joined CP.  :ninja:

;) I was gonna say that! Uh, not November 8, 2003--MY joining date (something like February 1 of this year.) Great minds think alike! ;)

Let's say December 3, 2005, my husband's birthday. We usually have everything go wrong when we plan stuff but this year it went off without a hitch and everybody had a wonderful time.

One of MY days. . . Usually several attack at once but here goes. . . My Average day begins about noonish And between 2:30 and 4:30 I head to work where I Stand and wait on folks wondewring if maybe a couple of those odd people did evolve from an Ape of Maybe they just spent to much time at the zoo. . . I discover things like which corner one of my co workers is working. . . she weighs 10 lbs more than me and is half as tall. . . A notice around 5 pm that a lot of people from the local state Hospital have overnight passes only to reallize that they really do live in Henrietta and then have some traveler come in and Ask where highway 82 is and I show them the road out front.

I like to think all my days are good days. I'm alive, breathing and it's beautiful outside - yes, even when it's raining.

But I did have a noteable good day, two christmas's ago, returning to work after the break to open my E-Mail inbox to realize that I had just won a new X-Box! Only one winner from across Canada and it was me, woo!

That's a really good attitude--counting your blessings! :ninja:

Being a winner is just the icing on the cake. ;)

I agree with WildJon, every day is a good day.

But to enter I'll need to get specific, so here it goes. Of course my wedding day and birth of our children are no brainer GREAT days, but this was an average day that turned out to be good.

Jan 27, 1997 I get a call from my local Saturn dealer telling me he found a car that I was looking for and it was ready to go that afternoon. Finally I could trash that piece of junk Ford Escort that would cut out on I-95.

Pick up my new wheels, take it over to my dad's to show him. It's snowing and I was on my way to bowling so he says be careful driving, you don't want to wreck it on it's first day.

A couple hours later I give him a call, he says "don't tell me, your crashed the car!"

I tell him instead that I had just bowled my first 300 game! Something that had eluded me for 12 years.

New car, 300 game on the same day.

Jan 27, 1997, that was a good day.

BTW, I've since bowled another 300, and retired from bowling, but I'm still driving the Saturn :ninja:

Hm...I think the best day so far would have to be October 15, 2004. That was the day I was crowned Homecoming Prince of my Junior Class, and to hear everybody chear for me :ninja: Of course, I was attacked by some of the senior football players who didnt like me because I'm bisexual, and I ended up with a ripped sashe. But nevertheless, I went to the game, and despite the riped sashe I still had a great time with everybody else. It was nice to know that that many people liked me, and it was really awesome to hear everybody chear for me when they announced I had won in front of the entire school.
