Scottishmoney
I have one kicking around somewhere. I bought the box of Cheerios just for the coin, and hoped for the dollar. The box w/ cereal was then thrown out I don't like breakfast cereal.
papadoc
i heard some of those cheerios coins are worth something... like some of the 2000 cents are the wide AM thing... or there's some srewed up sac's or something...?
bobbycoin
Yes DOc, I have also heard that some are Wide AM, but removing them from the package is the only way to find out. The Sacs have a slight diference in the design in the back, again took people a while to figure this out becasue on the blister pack you cant seee the revers. There was a thread about it in the coin forum, I beleieve it was titled "2000 sacky pattern?" -Bobby
crystalk64
I have extra 2000 P wide AM in EF to Unc and sure we can work out a deal if any of you need them. Not sure how many are left but do know I was lucky enough to have four unc. rolls full of them in 2001. Just give me an email!
bahabully
Anyone seen any of the Cheerio Sac's for sale?
Guest Stujoe
Whew. At least these haven't skyrocketed in price. I sold about 6 or 7 of them shortly after they came out. Plus, gave each of the kids one (which no longer probably exists ). I was afraid I had lost out on thousands. I mayh stil have one around somewhere but I wouldn't bet on it. gxseries
Appearently some of the $1 dollar coin are made from a different die and hence called a "pattern". I think someone here has mentioned about this some time ago.
Guest Stujoe
IIRC, they have the same reverse as the 12 (?) real gold ones that were sent up on the space shuttle.
