  1. Their own coins circulate, anyway
  2. Nagorno karabah is an Azerbaigian's region that declared its independence, sice it's inhabited by Armenia population. In 1988 (before USSR's collapse) a non-declared war brokeout inside USSR boundaries, between Armenia and Azerbaigian forces. Now, Nagorno Karabah is an autonomous region (even if it is part of Azerbaigian) with its own currency, but this note is queite a different matter.
  3. I'm not so aknowledged in notes, but it sounds quite strange (a banknote with Jesus Christ???). Could you post a pic?
  4. Just a little remark. Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio didn't led Italian troops (I mean, it wasn't Italian Army) but a group of volunteers, that were driven away from Fiume from Italian Army itself, since he refused an Italian-Yugoslavian agreement. After that, a new agreement made Fiume an Italian city, until Yugoslavian victory (1945).
  5. I think there's no denomination or date, at all, but the identification's correct.
  6. I answered today, but now my range of age is different from that of my subscription...
  7. 1 Danish skilling, minted under Frederik VI Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Norway. Struck at Altona mint. Milled coinage.
  8. Am I wrong, or this field doesn't exist anymore? How should I manage? PS. Thanks, in advance
  9. Zambia inflation drove to a "notes" monetary system. During last years Zambia minted just commemorative coins. The strange fact, I noticed, is that Queen Elizabeth II is portraited on these coins. Since she's not head of Goverment, nor head of State, nor a sort of Paramount in chief (like in the Fiji Islands) what's the reason of this choice? Just as head of Commonwealth? Are there any other reasons? Does anybody know?
  10. From Italy, again. 5 Euro - Herculaneum, commemorative issue for the tricentennial of Herculaneum's discovery. Foreground representation of nymph who draws on a fountain with a horn. Neo-Attic marble.
