  1. My trade with Burks. Some nice US coins to help me catch up with many that I am missing.
  2. Yesterday at the grocery store I received 4 of the new 2005 Finn €2 commems. The cashier must have had a new roll of them!
  3. Depending on the cost, I would be interested in grading book: photograde or the ANA.
  4. Another nice coin from Bill!
  5. A co-worker of mine went to New York for a week vacation over the summer. He received a 1944 quarter in change!
  6. There are companies that do this stuff also. Just on a whim try contacting one of them and get an estimate. Here is one that has some ready stock dies: http://www.highlandmint.com/dies.cfm Perhaps they could give us a good deal on a Coinpeople coin?
  7. Yes, if you consider that these are the only banknote pages that I have ever acquired.
  8. A Canadian 25 cent piece from Franz, and a thick wad of pages to finally organize my banknotes -from San Miguel.
  9. It is now being sold. Here it is on the Moneta's website.
  10. Do the obverses all look like they were struck as weak as that? I have one too, thus my curiosity.
  11. Got it! Not just any stapler either, this thing is a Cadillac: assisted-power for effortless stapling, large contoured design, fits a whole row of staples (do not need to snap them in half), and best of all FLAT CLINCHES!!
  12. Yesterday: a new €5 commem and a contest prize from Jose.
  13. I picked up a couple of items while in Estonia. Some coins for trade and the commemorative below: http://www.omnicoin.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=903747 This is my first colored coin.
  14. I would (heh heh) if I could, but I guess I am just formica.
  15. A beautiful crown from 28P's Katrina auction!
  16. My favorites: some nice big shiny silver stuff! Bermuda crown, Mexican 1 and 5 pesos. That 5 pesos is one LARGE coin! The coin is not yellow but actually a nice bright silver. I still need to practice using my new camera. It is not as easy as I had hoped. Anyway, does anyone recognize the holder that this coin is in? (The coin came within this holder when I purchased it.) It is an airtite and the coin is kept centered within a black foam-like ring. Does anyone know this product and whether is poses a danger to the coin? And if not, where can one order such items? I really like the look of these and would like to get more for my other silver crowns.
  17. A book on the banknotes and coins of modern Estonia 1992-2002.
  18. A nice lustrous Swiss 5 franc, and a care package from T'bunny that could not have arrived at a better time to cheer me up! ;)
  19. Nothing for many days now, and I am expecting a few shipments too.
  20. That sure took its sweet time. Anyhow, glad it made it there. You are welcome. I received a Finland 1985 50 markkaa commem - Kalevala.
