    Thanks! That was when I was bored and had disposable income and saw a decent deal on Heritage. Seems like $120 is a great price for a pretty proof from 1938!

    Art, thank you SO much for taking the initiative for this great thread. The Roosevelt thread has become one of my favorites here and I've been meaning to start this one for a while. I'm excited to see all the beautiful examples of my favorite circulating series.

    Fascinating image of the bells. I've never seen bells like that. It makes sense to have several small bells. I can imagine the cost of manufacturing or shipping of a "real size" church bell is prohibitive for small frontier missions.

    Nice, bill. Are there names for the upper half of the badge and the lower half? I really like the log on the upper half. The designers of these badges had a lot of creativity in the small space they had to work with.

    Now, I know watermarks sit in those voids, but why do the voids have to be so prominent? It looks very awkward.
