Guest Stujoe
Uh oh. Blackhawk PM'd me that it has not arrived yet. If it doesn't show up next week, we may have to give it up as lost.
UncleBobo 0
V? You there? Where you at girl?
Guest Stujoe
Good question! Keep hope alive! Meanwhile, I will see about where I put that backup piece.
Guest Stujoe
I now have a backup piece to the backup piece...assuming it arrives...just in case V has taken an extended vacation.
Guest Stujoe
OK, cue up Taps. I think we will have to count the V Cents as missing and presumed dead. Never fear. The CoinPeople.com Mint will spring back into action. Ok, 'Spring' might not be the right word but we will get the press out of the closet, oil it up a bit and see if it still runs. A planchet has already been procurred. Actually, 2 planchets are on hand. The mint master just has to decide which one to use. After the minting, the list will pick back up where it left off. Stay tuned.
Guest Stujoe
The newest coin has been struck...more info to come.
Art 0
Was it shipped priority insured? If so it should be totally trackable. I thought that was the agreement we had all had. I'd make a major complaint with the postmaster in the originating and destination offices. It's amazing what turns up when the heat starts.
Guest Stujoe
I have no idea how it was shipped. Maybe Rodney can let us know? When we start back up (with new one or a found old one), I will try to be more involved in PM'ing and such just to clarify everything before and after shipping. Rotten Rodney 0
Well After finding it in my box for the 3rd time. . . and someone at the Post office seems to of lost there job. . .something to do with missing mail and undelivered mail. I sent it again with assistance of the Local postmaster and Got his Promise it was gonna leave me. . should be there anytime if not Call me I got a sheriff that will go get answers. . . Seems they kept returning the Sheriffs Mail to and his power got shut off. . . he was upset. . . And I forgot the insurence in the wonderful mood I was in but I seen it to the Fortworth truck which is farther than it got to go before. if lost now I'll stand good for it. (Sweating Bullets)
Guest Stujoe
I don't care about replaceent cost. That is no biggie. The insurace is there because the Post office takes better care of stuff when it has that little insured stamp on it. Otherwise, they have to fill out paperwork and such if it is lost. And there is nothing a government agency hates more than having to fill out paperwork, in triplicate, documenting that they screwed up. If it is lost, so be it. We will tweak the rules and proceed with a new one.
