ScottO Posted January 18, 2010 Report Share Posted January 18, 2010 those are beutiful pennies are the george III's here are some of my fave pennies i own got this for stupid price on ebay £3, 1926 is a scarce date for george V even none ME like this. 1918 1879 narrow date, very scarce 1901 with lovely tones good solid EF 1903, seems to have faded the lustre into a yellow colour 1935 with the ghosting lustrous 1947 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

stiny Posted February 18, 2012 Report Share Posted February 18, 2012 "good solid EF 1903, seems to have faded the lustre into a yellow colour" you do have some very nice pennies on here! while some are mint, I do tend to shy away from coins who's lustre appears as 'yellowing', some unscrupulous dealers can treat there coins with sulphur to remove some patina from coins!
