Looks like someone has to redo the whole note collection. Well, what I have left anyway. :ninja:

Can't imagine how much time you spent to scan your notes one by one........handling the notes with extreme care......alignment.......preview....scan.....cropping.....resize......save.....

..upload...... :ninja:

I believe it is not uncommon for us to do that. It is all for the passion for banknotes collecting. You will feel a deep satisfaction once the task is completed. The end result will make you a happy man at least a whole lifetime if you know that those beautiful banknote scans are permanently encased in your collection for everyone to view and enjoy. Your effort does pay off in the long run. Agree ??

It certainly does take time. I don't mind though. I like projects.

I noticed there's some yellow star/dot near to the security thread....isn't that some sort of security feature to disable scanning? Have you tried scanning Euro notes? :ninja:

I don't know if that's what it's for, and I don't have any Euro notes.

Interesting, obviously I have not run into this issue.

That is probably because you have a "cheap" scanner. :ninja: Perhaps for those models they did not bother to install such recognition systems.

(It could be like the cheapy DVD player that I have: it does not recognize region markers, so I can watch DVDs from basically anywhere. )
