Are there any ships or trains that are depicted on banknotes from two seperate countries?

Does anyone here collect just Transportation Notes?

The Expensive one's ... the 50, 100, 500, 1000, 10000. I saw a full set for sale once and just for the "10,000 dollars" (P-17) they were asking 13,000 USD. My wife thought I was nuts just for looking. In reality, I hope just to get at least the 50 and the 100. Maybe next year or maybe the year after, but I will find get them some day.

So many great notes are rolling in it is hard to keep up. Wow, Terrific Everyone! Mexico Chihuahua 5 and 10 Pesos 1913 I like the cattle drive seen and the colors of this one.

I tried a few things with the scanner but I cannot quite get the Ram's Head to show up well enough. Does anyone know a good trick for Scanning so you can see the watermark better?

Now that you mention it, I don't recall another design of a bankbote doing the watermark that way. I am going to go through all my notes see if there is another.

I was just reading Nutmegcollector's blog about the Walletpop's Top 10 world's most beautiful banknotes and out of coincidence it has São Tomé and Príncipe as number one.

In 2004 they started putting 2 security threads in the notes. I have not found a reason why, but they did it on purpose.

Sao Tome & Principe: These are the 1996 version with the one security thread. There is suppose to be a version with two security threads.

The new Phillipine banknotes, they look better in the scans than they do in person. The colour scheme is not that great.

On the other hand, an educated consumer is not always your best customer. Of course this also comes out of the problem of a two tiered price system, one for dealers and one for collectors. Collectors expect equal sale, dealers expect the lower price.

There is also the 1 Hao from Vietnam, P-77 (I do not have this one yet. ) And I have seen a few on Notgeld.

I like the colours on this El Salvador. I do not know of any other banknote from El Salvador that has an animal on it.
