  2. Iran 20 Rials, from 1969. Nice colours. I am not sure, but it looks like a Gazelle hunt.

  5. Nice note Dave, Do you now have all the "Experimentals"? Also, I think they were testing the paper on that version, do see any difference compared to other notes durring that time?
  6. This Iranian note (10 Rials from 1948) though not very impressive to look at, has a heavier paper which gives the intaglio printing an amazing texture to feel.

  8. The Angola notes were supposedly done by Thomas De La Rue. What style would you call this? It is not like a French Note.
  9. Nothing fancy, Somalia 5 Shilin 1978. It is kind of like the Portuguese notes of Angola from the 1960's; however, I do not believe Somalia was a Portuguese colony but rather Italian. I wonder who did the design and printing.

  15. Great notes everyone! jtryka, I noticed that the first note has serial number "64". That is pretty low number. Do you know how many were printed?

  20. I think they split officially into "Sudan" and "South Sudan". I would guess "North Sudan" would be "Sudan". I have seen fantasy notes from the area, so I am not sure.
