Nice note Dave, Do you now have all the "Experimentals"? Also, I think they were testing the paper on that version, do see any difference compared to other notes durring that time?
This Iranian note (10 Rials from 1948) though not very impressive to look at, has a heavier paper which gives the intaglio printing an amazing texture to feel.
Nothing fancy, Somalia 5 Shilin 1978. It is kind of like the Portuguese notes of Angola from the 1960's; however, I do not believe Somalia was a Portuguese colony but rather Italian. I wonder who did the design and printing.
I think they split officially into "Sudan" and "South Sudan". I would guess "North Sudan" would be "Sudan". I have seen fantasy notes from the area, so I am not sure.
