  1. That $5 Series 692 MPC is real nice. I have been looking for many years for one I could afford for a very long time. Very nice indeed.
  2. MauMauNotes those are nice notes. I think I like the older Fiji notes than the newer ones.
  3. Dave, they are great! It takes a long time, but it is so worth it. And they make is easy to order and they are very helpful.
  4. I like the back of the 500 Korun. It was very well done.
  5. Excellent notes, I have been looking for the 20 Dong for some time.
  6. Nice 20 Dave. I think I like this 20 better than then new design.
  7. This is my Lucky week. This just came in the mail. I wonder who drew the lion. Does anyone know? Did they do other notes as well?
  8. I like this one, P-371. There is at least one more lion from England, P-376, not sure of any others.
  9. Part II: The notes are realy nice, better than the scans.
  10. Well it took about three months to get here, but I don't care! Because I got them at face value from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, and they have matching serial numbers. Yeah ME! part 1:
  11. Nice notes Dave. I am waiting for a Philippine set to arrive.
  12. That is odd, this is the second time I heard this today. I was at a coin show and a bunch of dealers were talking about how there is a glut of US notes, but the available notes have little value. They were saying that the better ones are getting hard to find.
  13. I have this and the Sweden 100 Kronor with the Bee. However, it will not scan because of security features.
  14. Sigh, I was not strong on the Cayman Island set ... I ordered a matching serial number set directly from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. I am waiting for them to arrive.
  15. And their backs, or is it the other way around?
  16. I souldn't have but I did, the new Sri Lanka notes: fronts
  17. Nice, I like the colour of this note than the newer ones.
  18. Great info Saor Alba. Those are great vignettes. Thank you.
  19. Scotland has some realy nice notes. From 1969, The Royal Bank of Scotland.
  20. Besides making sure they follow the pattern. '5' followed by 1, 2, or 3 letters, then 5 numbers '10' followed by 3 letters, then 5 numbers '25' followed by 3 letters, then 5 numbers '50' then 1 or 2, letters then 5 numbers '100' then 1, 2, or 3 letters then 4 numbers '500' then 1 or 2 letters then 4 numbers '1000' then 1 or 2 letters, then 4 numbers '2500' then 1 letter or 2 letters, then 4 numbers; or '2500' then 2 letters over 'I' plus 5 numbers I was warned to stay away from the specimans and anything with an X as the first letter. X i guess is a replacement note. Also to watch out for these because they could be fakes: 5ABV 50AS 500Z 1000Z 2500Z I have seen a lot of 5ABV's in fact I have one.
