daggit
Sorry my pics are getting worse all the time, the toning on this is a blue, pink and purple. Really nice in hand. Thought I would share!
Art
I've had a couple of those with that type of toning. I think it's something in the leather/leatherette cases they came in. The folks at the local coin club go crazy for them.
WildJon
I have one of those and one of the 1971's as well. Both have similar toning on them. You're right, they look beautiful in hand. I'm still working on my digital camera photography. It's still a little blurry, but getting better. Once I've finally figured it out I'll try to post mine. Ray
Very nice. I have a 1971 that I bought from Blackhawk that is equally as nice.

Burks
That's how my 1967 set looks for the dollar and half coins, except on both sides. The quarter and dime are deep shades of blue.
ccg
Another neat example of the '71-73 toners.
daggit
I have two proof sets (American) from the 60s, why do the nickels appear toned. Do they tone early than the rest because of their composition? Just curious.
