True, but if Oz is the same as here then it's probably difficult to find somewhere that will convert change from one currency to another, maybe someone just wanted to get rid of it. Unfortunate for the poor person on the other end who gets short-changed with it!

I've received some American coins, Euros and pre-Decimal coins in my change over the past few years. I keep them all for their novelty factor. :ninja:

yea.. havn't seen one for many a year.. last one was a 1933 halfpenny, in Fine grade from one of those 2p machines in blackpool lol

havn't recieved an old size 5p for a while either, those are common 10p replacements.

i just love channel island ind isle of man comping up.. so low mintage because of low population, they are nice to keep
