ScottO
seperate post for the recent ebay buys got this fantasic buy saw it with a few minutes to go, saw the grades and bid... got them from canada so very pleased with the price as getting a decent 1945 is hard, and even mid grade edward VII starts to add a bit, which was the main reason to purchase, as i already have a fantastic 1945 £2.49 (this as always is bid+postage price) £5.20 fairly nice examples of the type, for 2 George II that are not in a ruined mess is pretty good, the halfpenny alone is worth about £15-20 in that grade, the farthing is nice to have as well as i have very few farthings from this period saved the best till last, found this beauty while looking through penny selections, for any cheap raritys these are usualy worn pennies so most people overlook them, there was no listing as great 1900 penny either, but i saw it bid and got this and ELEVEL other worn pennies for £2.49 meaning it cost me... twenty pence looks every so slightly offcentre (not much but can see the rim thickness)
ScottO
ok you fans of jersey coins £4.15 these nice enough? £6.28 combined postage the jeton made up the majorty of the total price, but these are so nicely designed surprised to find it was around 1660 (1665 i guess due to placements in identification between 1664 and 1666 pieces from the same series)

constanius
dont see many british brass jetons, i have a few french ones, this is the first british one. Circa 1710. Queen Anne. Rev. FVNDAMENTVM QVIETIS NOSTRAE. ECCLES. ANGL. Brass 26mm. by Lazarus G. Lauffer Nuremburg. Circa 1714. George 1st. Rev. FVNDAMENTVM QVIETIS NOSTRAE. ECCLES. ANGL. Brass 26mm. FVNDAMENTVM QVIETIS NOSTRAE. ECCLES. ANGL means The Church of England is the basis (or foundation) of our Peace. These were early propaganda tokens/jetons stressing that the protestant church was the way to maintain peace in Great Britain. Both Queen Anne & King George faced threats from legitimate claimants to the throne. These were Catholic and supported by french funds and sometimes french troops and had tremendous support in Scotland and Ireland plus some support from catholic families even in England
