NumisMattic2200
latest bargain halfpenny £2 penny free (halfpenny is about £50 in book and penny is £3) Sweet for 2 quid - though how do you know you've graded right? as book grades can be mighty hard.. ScottO
there is abook which you can grade british coins with, its EF or around abouts, the penny is VF either way in VF the halfpenny is worth 10x more then £2 lol
ScottO
almost forgot few knocks but for £1.99 and £1.25 P&P for an EF 1902 penny i'm not fussed about a few knocks on obverse scarce 2mm trident 1895 penny got this with another fair grade 1mm 1895 for £1.45 + £1.70 p&p now for a few bits from a 200 coin bulk buy (came to £9.45 inc postage so great value for 200 coins) 2.4 million mintage of these new zealand pennies fairly decent 1930 5 kopecks leeds halfpenny token probably the gem of the bulk buy, 1924 australia penny, only 4.665 million minted so EF+ grade pieces like this are worth £20+ (this one is prbably aUNC looking at detail on portrait) EF 1953 portrait 1 halfpenny, the scarcer type prolly a couple of quid here

ScottO
the krauzer is very nice in hand and the swedish coins i love i picked up something a little rare, by total accident today 1590 Solms-Lich 1/2 batzen for £5.39, not bad price considering the age and its bigger then the average penny i needed an example of james II, prices for even the most common of his stuff in low grade is through the roof, and my dealer had ONE example of a james II. sat in a folder amongst foreign coins, now for £10, i had to think hard afterall, reverse is completly obliterated, i decided to get it anyways, only when i checked it out to see which coin it was did i realize (well i did see the giveaway square metal piece as well) that its not irish at all, as that had a differant legend and portrait the other way, it could only be a tin farthing, which are rare to find in any grade, as they corrode easily, there is an example witch is better then this, but in fairly low grade regardless, going for £100 although it still has decent reverse details albeit faint and its blotchy, same with obverse, but it doesnt have bits missing, so regardless, these things are rare. although i'm only 95% sure its one of the tin farthings, the mess its in and the tell tale square points me towards tin rather then copper as well as the legend jacobvs secondus rather then jacobvs II fid def like on irish pieces. £1.50 for this? poland 6 grozen 1662, coulnt pass this up, nice doubling too
