BigCanadianM
Ok, well I'm finally getting around to putting some coins to their final 'resting place', but I don't know to to store proofs without them getting scratched. Help!
Brett
Send them all to me and i will store them for you forever hahahahahaaaaa Are you talking about Proof sets or individual coins?
BigCanadianM
Thanks but I'll pass this time I'm talking about individual proofs. Proof sets I'll just keep in the box they came with. Actually, how do you properly store proof sets with and without their original boxes? Thanks

Art
There are a lot of choices for storing individual proofs. Airtites holders work well. So do intercept shield 2x2s. Then stack them in a protective box and you're all set.
jtryka
I put them in my Dansco albums or 2x2s.
TreasureGirl
As long as you've got your trusty pair of cotton gloves and an Airtite (IMO) you should be set.
BigCanadianM
Thanks guys! I think I'll keep my lower-end proofs in 2x2's with a paper coverslip, and my nicer proofs in Airtites/similar holders. Thanks!
just carl
Purchase some liquid plastic. Pour a layer on a flat service. Place all your proof coins one that layer. Pour another layer over that. They sould stay exactly that way for approximately 1,700 years. Go to Florida and when they launch the next rocket put your Proofs in that rocket. They will be safe in outer space due to no air, moistur, criminals, etc. Or just put them in 2x2's.
