  1. Hi, IgorS, how did you find out so early? I did a few bids and still waiting to get any word from Mr. Elmen.
  2. It is a bit early to expect results. Try to contact Mr. Elmen if you placed bids.
  3. Senkra, by your pictures it is even hard to tell if coin is genuine. Only way for you to sell it well is to send it to grading
  4. is not my poltina 1800 look better?
  5. Blackdrone, this is fake. Stay away from it. OOOps. Blackdrone = to name of eBay seller jealous009 from Hungary?
  6. You have wild imagination. I personally like such features in people. They make good fiction writers. However, were you standing beside with candlelight when these dies were stolen?
  7. "the country is not touristic at all..." Sigi, can you please elaborate on this? I was born in former Soviet Union but have not been there for 24 years.
  8. I went on their site to take a look. I found that looks did change. Past auction information with prices realised however seem to be intact. What is the problem?
  9. even by looking at your pictures on can see it is not proof
  10. I watched this a few weeks ago. I was impressed by counterfeiter’s idea to strike coins with industrial nail driving tool used in construction which was powered by gun powder cartridges. In general the story is full of BS IMHO.
  11. I have doubts it is simple at all. Quality of fakes of Rusian coins had improved beyond human comprehension. I never went through a data base of 8000 Brekke/Severin/Uzdenikov/Julian FAKE coins but I have a feeling of a situation which tells me it is now obsolete - no use.
  12. BKB described his understanding of the situation with Russian fake coins very well. I did not understand what you are trying to say. Did anyone?
  13. here a picture of genuine 10k 1771 siberian was posted in Russian coin forum http://coins.lave.ru/forum/download/file.php?id=1509667&mode=view I post it here for comparison reasons
  14. bobh, does your coin have same amount of mint luster or better then one on Heritage? Your pictures unfortunately do not show too much mint luster. Hopefully it is just your pictures problem.
  15. yes, nice color. it is burgundy or sour cherry color.
  16. Nice collection. Very good pictures. ...but unfortunately I can only look but not buy as coins purchased there cannot cross Russian border because of silly laws in Russia.
  17. Sigi, did you return 1771 coin back or....

  19. Congrats to your purchase! I also was bidding on it. I also hoped coin is in some MS grade.
  20. is it an authentic NOVODEL coin? If it is how NOVODEL which supposed to be made for rare coin collectors could have so much wear. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574633083&toolid=10001&campid=5335826004&customid=&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg&icep_item=200877603199
