If you really up to messing with this coin may be you can contact NSC customer service with your coin photographs and ask if they can improve appearance of this coin. As to me I believe nothing can or should be done to corrosion on this coin. In fact I like this coin the way it is.

Well... OK. This one just a quite old example so probably harmless for my luck. I purchased this coin about 2 years ago for $750 on eBay. I later graded it as NGC MS 63. You might know how much NGC MS 63 1915 rouble might cost today. Here is a picture. ....Shoot! Again picture is too big to upload. This forum is still pain in the back for loading any good quality pictures. May be this is another reason it is dying...

I will not tell about my best bargains as people who sold it to me might be still here. This may make future bargains not possible. Some bargains though were worth up to may be hundreds or occasionally thousands of dollars of profit.

I support you in this. Russian coins should be traded separately. Either here or elsewhere but not in general section of foreign coins trading.

Is it that it is difficult to buy coins due to high prices or the opposite when prices for coins are falling due to lack of interest? I personally see a trend of price falling for coins in average condition and prices for coins in MS condition are at about same price level.

Apparently most of Russian speaking members moved their focus to Russian forums as ЦФН, Самара and Старая Монета. On other hand, let us face it, everything in the world has its life cycle: birth, maturity and subsequenty ... death. may be this is what is happening with Russian Coin forum here.

I recently purchased this coin for my trading fund. Is it scarce? My Volmar catalog values it pretty high for whatever reason. I am looking for 3 kopeck coins of same period (same eagle type or a later "skinny" one). Is there anyone interested to trade?

well. I love my coins but hate to loose money. knowing that one day I will sell them I am forced to slab them. just a provenance of being purchased from WWCC might be not good enough to even get my money back unless coins are slabbed in high MS.

I do not know why I cannot upload anything anymore after uploading previous file (460K) in previous post. File of reverse is only 460K and system says to me "maximum single file upload is 30MB"?
