  17. I've seen lots of SGS slabs while trolling around on Ebay. I know next to nothing about grading and I can tell that they go overboard with the high marks. The most 70's I've seen on slabbed coins in fact have been on SGS slabs. This is the most 70's I've ever seen at one time!!!! ebay
  18. I wonder if this change has anything to do with the fact that Britain has soldiers operating in a war zone. I sure the government wouldn't want a coin to remind the people of the dangers their loved ones face on a day to day basis.
  19. Actually, I didn't know. I thought you were married to Patrick.
  20. Did you find that in the back seat of a Delorean lying next to a copy of Gray's Sports Almanac?
  21. I'm not sure what the one pound coins say, probably something about the queen but it is latin. The two pound coins celebrate british industry thourgh the ages, hence the Newton quote
  22. The modern British 2 pound coin has "Standing on the shoulders of giants" inscribed on the edge. It's an Issac Newton quote. I think that's pretty neat.
  23. I didn't buy this book but I did read large sections of it. Very interesting...
