Ætheling
Coinpeople presents the Second Season of the British Popular Coin Idol, in association with the Imperial Bank of Coinpeople. Same rules apply as usual, which do you prefer? Auldfartte's 1795 Token, featuring York Minster and Clifford's Tower OR Auldfartte's 1853 Victorian Penny? Ætheling
I just voted for the regular issue coin again, it's my default option. Although i must admit i always liked York and thus it nearly got my vote on that reason alone. Now if it had been Lincoln for instance the token would have got my vote. Scottishmoney
I hate voting for one person over another, but at least the same coin owner owned both. The York token is just too desirous, even over the lovely halfpenny.

Ætheling
This surprises me because HPJ usually can tell the difference between a penny and a halfpenny just from the picture. I wouldn't have known any better either way with these young head coppers.
Ætheling
Either way, Voting has ended and the York token wins!

Ætheling
Just looked in Coincraft, i do believe HPJ is right. Auldfartte's how big is that coin? If it's 34mm then it's a penny, if it's 28mm then it's a halfpenny.
