You know i thought i merely didn't care for the design but when i met one of those incuse Indians in person i was even more underwhelmed. They are a monstrous design. Most US gold does very little for me as I find much of it uninspired and a large portion of it unattractive. The Liberty above falls into that categorty for me. I like the design ok. It is not butt ugly or anything but there is not that much special about it. It is your typical Woman's Head/Squashed Eagle design. I will agree that it is a better design overall than the Saint, though. But, the Indian design is one of the few US gold designs that I actually like. It is also a very USian design. I doubt you would find very many similar designs on any other country's coinage. A realistic looking and somewhat tough looking coin design.
