billzach Posted January 19, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2006 Do you create a sketch for yourself first as a guide or do you just directly begin carving? on this one i tacked a picture on the wall and carved what i saw...my pencil drawings look like a 2 year old drawings, but i can cut metal with gravers and create subjects, i don,t understand it and have given up trying too..sometimes i start carving on a coin and have no ideal what it,ll end up being...
