Art
Interesting. I wonder how long before the US starts in that direction. I'm also thinking that now that the Kennedy dynasty in MA has closed that Crane may lose some of its clout and the removal of the $1 note may no longer be impossible. henare
I'm also thinking that now that the Kennedy dynasty in MA has closed that Crane may lose some of its clout and the removal of the $1 note may no longer be impossible. this is what i wondered about as well. thing is ... the "paper" would still be sole sourced, only in a country halfway around the world. that permission would be significantly less defensible. when i lived in australia most notes were paper (with hideous designs) ... but the $10 polymer note was so cool-looking ... MMMM
Any idea what the new design will look like or will it just be the old on polymer?
ccg
They will be new designs. I'm guessing the details will likely be held back until later in the summer.

Saor Alba
I want to buy one of the $100 for my collection, primarily for the reverse image of course and the reference to the discovery of insulin.
