I'm fairly new to collecting, other than pennies in my youth, but I find them fascinating. I'm currently working on Washington quarters, Lincoln cents, Jefferson nickels, and a U.S. Type set. Actually my daughter has a good start on a world coin set. She currently has something like 80 different coins. Not long ago I got her a 1599 silver piece, but I don't remember where it's from now.
