numismatic nut
Is $15 a good price for a 1952 proof set?I have one that I am going to buy on saturday.
Ken_3567
That is extremely low for a 1952 proof set. They usually go for around $300 to $400 a set. At just $15 I'd really question if this is a true proof set from the U.S. Mint. If it is then you will be getting one heck of a deal and should celebrate Regards, Ken
dustin43160
an american proof set?!?!?!?!?!?! ill buy it off of ya for 30$ if its real !!! on a serious note a real 1952 is worth 400.00 but if you can get it for 15$ its probably fake. nice to see a pic if you do buy it though!!! it would be worth buying if the coins are real and they are proof. Brett
The 1952 proof set comes in a box not a flat pack if I remember correctly Are you sure it isn't a 1962 proof set?
bill
In 1952, the proof sets were issued in a box. I believe each were individually wrapped. If its in a flat pack, its been repackaged and may not be a proof set. Or, its 1962 or some other year.

jtryka
If it was a 62 set, you can probably find another at that price pretty easily.
numismatic nut
True, but they still didn't save it for me like they said they would. But they said also that they would get another one for me.
just carl
Maybe consider yourself lucky. If a 1962 Proof Set it is barely worth that. If opened and messed with, even less. To bad it wasn't a 52. Now that would have been nice.
numismatic nut
They have a 62 to sell me.I know the price is high, but The price of singles is worth more than the set.I just can't resist proof franklins.
