LostDutchman
Hey guys in this large collection I came across quite a few off center and broadstruck wheat cents... It looks like someone got lucky with a few bags of cents I was getting ready to 2x2 them... and I thought I would snap some pics as you don't see this many together every day

thedeadpoint
Hey LD, I've never owned a error coin. Do you think you could save one or two for a contest/giveaway here at CP? Thanks! George

Burks
I am prob going to be sending in most of these into NGC for grading... Good idea. Those look to be pretty high grade for errors. Somewhat off-topic: Ever get those grades back on the 1909-VDB's?

belg_jos
Lots like that don't come for sale in my area of collecting, but they look really great. I like the 1956-D 95% !! On my Belgian errorcoins, I also look for full dates, even though the premiums are still the same for dated and undated errors over here. Just being carefull, and they are just so much nicer when they are fully dated Nice catch LD! Do you guys check these for varieties? LostDutchman
I do catch myself checking off centers for varieties. I did some research with chuck on the 2000 type II's and in my research one day I was checking for off center cents from 2000 that exhibited the proof (type II) reverses. I found quite a few funny enough.. (i think the grand total was near a dozen). I even found a 2000 double struck reverse die cap that had the type II reverse.
