Burks
Any ideas? Erica's sister saved this for me because it was "so pretty". Sure looks like a proof strike to me.

Art
I'd bet that it is a proof. Looks like someone's collection got liberated. That however is a great find.
Dan769
Looks proof, but does it have some orange peel going on?
Dockwalliper
I vote proof.
Burks
I was thinking proof as well. If it was for the scratch on the obverse right, it'd be a fantastic piece. It has been placed into the "circulation find" collection. Got to love people who handle money all day. Best part is, I get it free! No orange either. Sorry. Color due to the wood reflection and me not having the correct bulbs.

Scottishmoney
Proof. I got a 1988-S Quarter in change once, rather heavily circulated.
Burks
This looks like it was cracked out of a set and spent within a day or so. Only one heavy mark and a few light rubs. On the plus side, it's my earliest proof to date. So has anyone released a 59' proof set out into the wild lately? Vfox?
AuldFartte
Oh, yeah, that's a proof alright. Nice find!!! I once found an SBA proof in circulation. Got it in change from a grocery store 'cause the clerk didn't know what slot to put it in. She had it sitting on top of the currency drawer. I saw it, asked if I could have it in the change, and got it. I'd call it a PF-50 Stuff like that is so cool !!!
cladking
I'm confident it's proof and that the orange peel is the reason it was placed in circulation. There is probably a promotion coming in the near future for these.
