Emperor Oli
I voted for the dime. Even though I'm no particular fan of morgans, something is odd about a country halfway across the world striking a coin that has nothing to do with it in essence. Ian
I voted for the dime. Even though I'm no particular fan of morgans, something is odd about a country halfway across the world striking a coin that has nothing to do with it in essence. That is possibly just Liberia using a little prod to remind peop's as to its history and origins or make some money via the NCLT market. The country of Liberia owes its very existence to a large extent to the activities of the USA. I'm still voting for the dime though, because I agree with you...in essence. The Morgan dollar wasn't even a twinkle in the US eye when the establishment of `Liberia' occurred.

elverno
Actually it's the reverse on the Liberia that's a beauty. But what folks seem to have missed is that Lady Liberty has acted as a personification of freedom for many countries worldwide. and the category is... Guess which one I voted for?
