  1. Bank of England notes are redeemable/exchangeable indefinately at the Bank's offices, but only the current series is legal tender.
  2. I just collect whatever looks cool.
  3. If those are made of actual coins, and not counterfeits (those swords look to have been made quite recently), $40-50 apiece as a conversation piece is not unreasonable.
  4. $120 for a Canadian 1956 PL set. Lost $15 selling it (needed money), though it jumped in value to about $200-250 about six months after I sold it...

  9. I've got 2 star notes in the past year, and I don't even live in the US!
  10. How about getting a job which pays better than 19c for such a time-consuming task!

  12. Well, funny, not interesting.
  13. I've seen em in KM, but first actual pics I've seen. I consider them to be quite amusing.
  14. What kind of "serious note"?
  15. Nice. I remember how cool it was time when I saw a group of UNC monogrammed 1 and 5 p.
  16. What's with the CP 100?
  17. Ah, I can see where it "popped" in.
  18. Sacs are clad as well, with a copper band in the middle.
  19. Rims weak, Liberty head kinda flat. Canadian G6, US VG8
