  1. Love the 2 cent and Hawaiian. About a 64 maybe 65? Never really have looked at grading them.
  2. And just added this on omnicoin for this thread 1996 westpoint dime still in cellophane. Part of the 1996 mint set. Note I lost a bulb from my two bulb photo set up and both sides the same color as obverse shows.
  3. Don't you (Art) have one of these also? Neutron Irradiated Dime
  4. Not fast enough. At least it seems like. Been saving money and have not really picked up a morgan I needed for awhile. Except the 1889 O. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up the next missing one soon. Waiting on a couple more safety incentive gift cards from work. Hopefully they may make it in this week.
  5. A duplicate year/mint morgan. One of those right price deals. 1896 And an addition to my Texas store tokens. No real firm date. But it had to be after he got the town renamed. WALBURG, TEXAS. Store token Henry Doering moved to the area in 1881 and opened a general store the following year. In 1886 he added a post office and renamed the settlement after his hometown of Walburg, Germany. Color off actual color silver. Made of aluminum.
  6. Okay wheres the jaw dropping smilie. Thats gorgeous.
  7. I hope we can. Being the optimist I even picked up a 1569 and 1584 to help the cause along when we get there.
  8. Just a little bit early on the post. Still need 1508 and down.
  9. ;) 400 years back in time. Yep to the post somewhere else and link.
  10. Going over ebay spotted some of the dated coins may only have the last 2 numbers. I guess that should still count unless we are sticklers it is still dated. You know once we make the 1609 point that will be 400 years of coins. Took us 2 years but a wild accomplishment.
  11. Just spotted a dated 1510 polish 1/2 Grosz on the bay.
  12. But which calender? The coin I posted a link to is dated just a different way of tracking the date. For those who haven't looked back thru the entire post for awhile I suggest doing it. I just did and it was neat. (BTW we thought we were getting stuck big time during the 1700's. Now we are almost to the 1500's. )
  13. I'm not sure about first but you can find early Egyptian coins like this. Which evidently is marked year 2 and works out to 235/236 ad. Really from what I have seen we are getting closer to year territory where fewer coins have dates. The 1500's may be slow but probably doable. The 1400's ???
  14. That one is kind of tough getting in a decent grade. I am going to continue slowly picking up business strikes and maybe one day have a complete set.
  15. One more Morgan year/mint I was missing. 1889 O Have not done much checking on vam, but looks like a normal vam 1. Does have a die clash by left wing and a small one above the right wing. But I don't see any other transfers. Edit VAM 10 wide date Edit again VAM 11 this time for real.
  16. Nah, mostly a low cost whim right now. But I have been looking more at the 1700 European and earlier stuff. Even picked up a krause 1601 to 1700 catalog.
  17. 3 new coins from Hungary. First the 1611 I was expecting. 1 DENAR coin 1611 King Matthias II Madonna and child with rays Then a couple so I don't sit out the dated coins thread completely. 1 DENAR coin 1584 King Rudolf II Madonna and child 1 DENAR 1569 King Maximilian II Madonna and child
  18. Stopped by the bank and they had a couple rolls of halves found one 1964, 1966, 1967, and 1968. Not bad about $10 worth of silver.
  19. 1876 5 francs Paris mint, bee and anchor privy marks. Paris mint denoted by the A the privy marks bee is for Director Renouard deBussiere 1860 thru 1879 and anchor is for the engraver general Albert-Desire Barre 1855 to 1878 Not quite as dark in hand as pictures seem. (Hey, Deadpoint heres the one I was talking about. Almost the same coin just 100 years older.)
  20. You know how I am keeping things close to the vest.
  21. Hey deadpoint wait till you see one of the other ebay pick ups on the way. You will like it.
  22. Thanks. I'll have to put that in the omnicoin description.
