Nope, did go ahead and just to help out paid $1.50 each for some au Ikes you can get from the bank to help out. He bought them for $4.00. I was hoping he had something, got some spare cash and would not have minded parting with to help him. At least this time he did sit down with me and maybe he will learn to think some before buying coins. Forgot I had this laying around for a few weeks. Don't have a translation on the words other then a few parts you can make out. But here is the info. Matthias (February 24, 1557 - March 20, 1619) of the House of Habsburg, Holy Roman Emperor (1612-1619), King of Hungary (1608-1619) (as Matthias II), King of Bohemia (1611-1617). Matthias was born in the Austrian capital of Vienna to Maximilian II, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria of Spain.Matthias married Archduchess Anna of Austria, daughter of his uncle Archduke Ferdinand II of Austria, whose successor in Further Austria Matthias became in 1595. Their marriage did not produce surviving children. In 1593 he was appointed governor of Austria by his brother, Emperor Rudolf II. He formed a close association there with the Bishop of Vienna, Melchior Klesl, who later became his chief adviser. In 1605 Matthias forced the ailing emperor to allow him to deal with the Hungarian Protestant rebels. The result was the Peace of Vienna of 1606, which guaranteed religious freedom in Hungary. In the same year Matthias was recognized as head of the House of Habsburg and as the future Holy Roman Emperor, as a result of Rudolf's illness. Allying himself with the estates of Hungary, Austria, and Moravia, Matthias forced his brother to yield rule of these lands to him in 1608; Rudolf later ceded Bohemia in 1611. After Matthias's accession as Holy Roman Emperor, his policy was dominated by Klesl, who hoped to bring about a compromise between Catholic and Protestant states within the Holy Roman Empire in order to strengthen it. Matthias had already been forced to grant religious concessions to Protestants in Austria and Moravia, as well as in Hungary, when he had allied with them against Rudolf. His conciliatory policies were opposed by the more intransigent Catholic Habsburgs, particularly Matthias's brother Archduke Maximilian, who hoped to secure the succession for the inflexible Catholic Archduke Ferdinand (later Emperor Ferdinand II). The start of the Bohemian Protestant revolt in 1618 provoked Maximilian to imprison Klesl and revise his policies. Matthias, old and ailing, was unable to prevent a takeover by Maximilian's faction. Ferdinand, who had already been crowned King of Bohemia (1617) and of Hungary (1618), succeeded Matthias as Holy Roman Emperor. Matthias died in Vienna. BTW getting a acetone soak when it makes it here. Picked up a couple more years. A king Maximilian II and king Rudolf II for later. The ones from Hungary are pretty cheap. Thought originally about getting more. Maybe later if we get stuck.

Group of coins, just not sure if I'm going to take pictures of any of them. Probably just a group shot of the silver since this thread is worthless without pictures. Friend of my sons always hitting the flea markets and buying coins. Only problem is he has no idea what he should pay. He's brought them in at different times and showed them to me. 99 % of the time he has paid way over what he should. I keep telling him at least get a red book. The prices may be off but at least he may have an idea what to spend. Anyways he lost his job and needed money. Went on ebay showed him prices and made a deal. Most of the silver stuff common years and low grade And I really don't need another couple rolls of wheat pennies. (May be a give away sometime.)

1910 KM-453 Mexico Peso CABALLITO First year of issue for this coin minted 1910 thru 1913 light toning around edges. Hey, an easy series to finish out. Already got the 1913, just need to get 1911 and 1912.

What surprised me was looking at this one on teletrade. If they call this an au 58 I need to send mine in for a crossover + . I saw a pcgs 62 with about the same wear on the eagle shoulder if not more.Heres a pcgs 63. Now they may be prone to soft strike issues but to me that looks like wear.

Keuper was one of the early settlers of Schulenburg Texas Square Nail hole in center of token Another Guess on the date. H.F. Hohlt born December 16, 1859 In 1890 he was president of the First National Bank in Brenham Texas and also a merchant. This one was kind of interesting. B.M. Co Bonus Texas. Bonus was a company town built and operated by William Thomas Eldridge. (Eldridge road in Houston was named after him. ) Later he Partnered with the Kempner family and started Imperial Sugar in Sugar Land Texas. Both obverse and reverse the same. White metal composition. Next unc 1896 morgan dollar vam 23 near date slanted, 1939 s f walking liberty half. Then a group of g to vf standing quarters 1926 s, 1927, 1928, 1928 s, 1930.

Stopped by my local stop and rob. Saw they had some halves in the drawer. Asked them for them. Got 12 halves, a 1964 and a 1967 rest normal clads.

I'm going to drop in my 1675. Yes some one did make change from it. Not sure if I'll get a chance tomorrow. (Heading to Louisiana)

All I have in 1600 is a 1654, 1661, and 1675.

Had a better chance to look over the site. I really like it. The art work for the obverse and reverses are great. Very easy to navigate and ID coins. A lot of hard work went in there. Very well thought out.

Very nice did a quick run on the votive I have and found this. took me all of about 30 seconds.

I like it. The range of coins, tokens, and jetons has been fantastic to see. 1684 may be another hard year. Two showed up on Omnicoin one owned by HKMAL and one by Sylvester. 1683 is a pretty nice year for omnicoin.

This one may be tough. I only spotted one coin on Omnicoin listed as 1685. Unless someone has a separate site this one may take a little bit.
