This would have been a great coin if not for the deep scars. Not sure that a lot of people would be interested in it. You might be able to get $100.

A picture speaks a thousand words.
Without a picture I can only say that nothing like that springs to my mind.
Also, I would like to suggest opening a new discussion thread with an appropriate title, since your question does not seem to involve the Russian Numismatic Society database test.

I think the prices in today's market are hard to predict, especially with the oil prices and the Russian ruble in the state of flux. The following site may provide some reference points for your collection: http://www.m-dv.ru/catalog/
Note that I did not closely look at your photographs. If you want your coins examined by the forum users, I suggest to take individual photographs at the right angle, and cropping them out of the background.

A very cool coin, and a very cool story!

Most IM dies were moved to Izhora from the SBP mint and still show traces SPB on the reverse. For Scott's coin it is more likely that the C is over K or Г, as SPB used ФГ and МК
initials prior to ПС. It is likely there is something under П as well.

Any thoughts on this coin? Napoleon?
Did anyone attend the auction? Many, many unsold lots. Poor turnout? The above coin sold quite well, so did the 1858 5 kopeks.

I thought is was a novodel, but it is a beauty!

A slightly belated Happy New Year to everyone! Best wishes to all, and may you collections grow in size and shininess!

I looked at the portraits of Elizabeth that I have, and found this one by Waechter:
-
I'll take it. I will send you a PM with my coordinates.

No, I paid good money for the slabbing, I don't want to waste it by break the slab.
I bought the coin raw, and it looked very good (XF+) to me, so I decided to send it in along with some other coins. I was satisfied with the XF-45BN grade. Recently, I bought another raw 1790 EM polushka, also a pretty coin, so I decided that I should sell the slabbed one at some point.

Promoting own material is not unmoral (and I wish people from this forum did that more actively), unless you sell fakes!
Beny, may be you need to start a new topic: "how to promote and sell your fake coins on eBay"?
Per your request I will promote my coin! I haven't posted it on eBay yet, but I might. This 1790 EM Polushka received the grade of XF 45 BN from NGC:

The first piece beny showed was also from seller Dr Satan. Maybe beny and Dr Satan are one and the same?
Sigi
.
And they are both presumably born in 1987. I fear we lost Benny to Satanism. His parents must be very disappointed
-
A very bad fake. And seriously, would you trust a seller who calls himself Dr Satan?
Also, I think it is the PS initials that are rare in 1814.

Any thoughts on this coin? Napoleon?

The "small" eagle is from the same template?
Never mind, I misread.
-
Nice coins! My only advise is do not spend too much.
Also please do not type in all CAPS.

Here's my fav coin from it:
-
The "lucky" owner can always break the slab.
-
Is this really a fake?

I don't see anything questionable about this coin either:

Gxseries, what is the source of your concern?
-
Nice coins! The second one is EM, hard to find them with furry horses.
-
Pretty interesting. Hard to tell. The only distinguishing feature that I can make out is the horses rear end is pointy. The coin from 1759 that you have up there, is from Ekaterinburg. On the other hand Moscow mint also had pointy butt coins in 1757:
However, overall shape of the horse looks more EM to me. Question - was there an EM coin a pointy horse rear and a lower banner?
-
This is a very good price for a very good book! I paid almost double that.
-
Is that what they call the transitional eagle?
Everything is called "Transitional Type" these days. I wish these "titles" were more descriptive.
