In general 'circulated' condition your best bet would be something like eBay but approaching a dealer could prove fruitful, too.

Happy birthday, Vern!

In that condition and, unfortunately, pierced not a great deal. This one in far better condition sold for £50 so maybe about £25-£30 but on a good day maybe much more.

It's an Anglo-Gallic issue. Most likely Henry IV, Hardi d'Argent. Much like these.

Hello. Thanks both for the warm welcome.
Yeoldecollector: which photo would you like me go upload again? When I click on them they enlarge. I can email them if you can let me know your email address?
Regards james
It's the image of the four gold coins in the 1937 red box.

Welcome to the forum.
I am struggling to get the images of your 1937 set to open here. I could let you know a little bit more if you can email them to me or try reposting them.

Mario, welcome to the forum.
The crown definitely looks genuine from the photos but would not be worth much at all if removed as I suspect it'll be covered on the obverse by an adhesive. Even if the obverse was not damaged it is not in the best of grades. My inclination would be to leave it in the lid.

Happy belated birthday! I hope you have fun on Saturday, too.

I'm waiting for your new list to load in another window right now.
Apologies. There's a lot of images...

My new list is now out, featuring over 200 coins from the Anglo-Saxon period right through to milled gold.
Please have a browse: http://www.historiccoinage.com/newadditions.php

It does not look genuine at all. Could you post a picture of the edge?

Happy birthday, Henare! It's been a while, hopefully see you here soon.

You can find instructions in the community forum to sign up for access to the Asylum. I suggest you give it a go.

Not sure that I understand the question. Please help me?
You can have multiple posts in one topic, cool.
-
A few more listed - including some English hammered coins and Canadian silver.
-
Yes that's the one and I'm in Manchester.
I'm sure you've seen my posts elsewhere now. Good luck with whatever you decide.
-
Yes sorry they are Gambia year of three kings, Guernsey queen mother 95th birthday, alderney lady of the century, Western samoa youth in flames castle etc
No need to apologise! I take it that this is the set in question? If you're local then I'd very much be interested.

Hi there all in the same box. Forgive my ignorance but how would I tell if there British.
If there is a country name on it, like this:
If you say it has the original box and certificate then I suggest that you let us know precisely what the title says. I also agree with a reply to one of your many postings of this - eBay will be your best bet as they won't be of any great rarity or value.
Good luck, Nathan!

Are they all in the same box, as a set? Or are they in individual boxes?
Are they definitely British issues of 1994 and not of a dependency or Commonwealth nation?
-
I do like these, Anton! The stylised bird is pretty neat, too.

Large, clear photographs are a must. Otherwise ensure that you accurately describe it and list in the correct category. I always start items at 99p for a ten day listing and find it works.
