My valuation wasn't far off then!

Better images than generic eBay aerial shots will have to be provided for a vaguely definitive answer.

Glad to see you, Syl! Great news to hear that life's going well for you and I hope you had a brilliant birthday.
-
Nothing immediately strikes me as wrong, he's got good feedback and your guaranteed a refund from eBay/PayPal if not as described.

Happy birthday, Sylvester! Hope you're well!

A few more hours left!

Gold, silver and hammered coins up for auction: http://ebay.eu/1mMuC1I

I had read an older post trying to research my question that recommended certain kinds of tupperware for coin storage - as long as the plastic was a certain kind (the good kinds were listed) there shouldn't be any adverse effects. If this is true, would I be right in assuming that storing my collection in an approved tupperware which is then stored inside my pretty trunk would work fine?
Probably. I've always understood that storing coins in PVC-free plastic was fine.

I got the idea several years ago to 'Drop' these coins in a place where someone will find it. Like a grocery store or whatever. Hopefully a kid finds it and it sparks his interest. I think I started coins because I found, or was given an old coin at age 6 or 7.
OK, it seems a little silly, but I thought it was a neat idea. Think of the excitement certain people would get.
Besides it would give a kid something better to do than video games or hacking into the into the CIA.
A great idea! Bringing fresh blood into the hobby.

The obverse (side with the Queen) is completely made up.
The obverse is not completely made up.
The simple divider here is the obverse. The obverse of a genuine Falklands penny would look like this:
Your coin is modelled upon an ordinary UK penny, as seen here:
The biggest difference is the legends.

Looks more like an Egyptian qirsh.

In my opinion the images you provide make it look much more like a 4 than a 1.

Oh, sorry I almost forgot............
Thank you my friend. You really helped me. I own you one
You're welcome.
Just another thought, a hallmark will often be on the edge of the piece.

I wonder how a pattern could become so worn.
Perhaps it is a 1674? It's hard to tell from these images.

What cost you think this seal could be? Something avarage
I do not know as I've never seen one for sale. If it's silver then it'll be more than if it's pewter or base metal. If these were produced en masse then its value will be bullion/melt value, I suspect, unless marketed to Charles alumni.
-
As for it being silver, have you tested it or does it have hallmarks?

The first word at 12 O'clock in the first picture tells you what this is. SIGILLVM is Latin for seal.
A quick read of the Latin reveals it's depicting Emperor Charles IV and relates to the protection of Charles University in Prague.
This is a modern replica made in 1999 by Rolarsky if the "ROLARSKY '99" means what I think it does.

If in absolutely mint state and in original case then here's an example at Bonhams. Gold price has risen since then but this appears to have some hairline scratches and some rim knocks.
-
It definitely looks like a fake to me.
However, weighing it is often a good indicator.
