Is a flat clinch staple really needed? Is an everyday normal stapler fine for this job? That is how all but two or three of my carded coins are stapled.

Personally I liked the $1 bill but do know people who pay me in $1 coins every day at work. I asked them why they do and they told me that the coins don't rip, get wrinkled, or get soggy when wet. I had to agree with them on those couple points. There have been many times when a soda just sounded so fine and behold! Poor old me doesn't have a $1 bill the machine will accept. The SBA would be my $1 of choice though. The only problem I have is that it can be easily confused for a quarter (which happens a lot at work). The Sac dollar just never caught on with me. *shrugs*

Add a 1940 Jefferson to my list of latest finds. It is in Fine condition and got it back as change from cash and a drink.

Today we were slow at work so I decided to go through the change. To my surprise there was a 1943 Nickel in there. I'd say it would be in F/VF condition. As Rabone said, I will retire it from service.

I just bought 16 coins off of Bill. I was expecting them to come in a regular envelope but no, they came nicely packed away in a padded envelope. Great person to deal with and if he keeps tempting me with these for sale ads, I may have to buy more

Today was a good day. 2004 Redbook Coins from Blackhawk including: 1967 10 cent Canadian coin, UNC 1963 Canadian one cent, beautiful red color 1959, 1960, 1961, 1963, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969 Canadian one cent pieces, all with great color and luster 1937, 1938, 1949 Canadian one cent pieces, nice details 1957 Canadian one cent, GREAT detail and color (never seen it before) 1953 5 Canadian cent piece 1915 5 cent silver Canadian Not coins: Door clips to fix that stupid panel on my car Woo-hoo, now to get the coins in some 2x2's.

If they throw coins in fountains, maybe people threw some in here!

I'm not going after the new nickel collection because of the insane amounts of sets they are producing. I can get one cheap years down the road. Maybe my thinking is flawed, I don't know. Really not impressed with the new designs. Jefferson's portrait is a step up from the old one though.

The Silver Eagles I've been looking at have been PR69 by both PCGS, NGC, NTC, and NCG. As far as I know, PCGS and NGC are pretty trusted grading companies. Am I correct on this assumption or am I missing something?
