Where do you mainly purchase your coins from? Ebay? Dealers? The average-Joe? Garage sales? I've bought most of my coins from flea markets. They really aren't HIGH quality coins and are relatively cheap but I'm not in it as an investment or anything (yet). I just enjoy the fact I have the coins.

That is an amazingly beautiful coin. Nice snag. Now what kind of effect does that kind of coloration do to the price? Collecting these types of coins could turn out to be a very fun hobby! Very pleasing to the eye (mine at least).

What NGS? I've seen one or two of them around.

Thanks. I wasn't sure about the reliability of their grading. It's been oh.....5-8 years since I bought my last coin (amazingly I started at the age of 12) and have never heard of SGS. My car hobby turned out to be a money pit so I'm looking to get into coins again. Nothing like searching through garage sales!

Oddly enough a lady gave me $1 in rolled wheat pennies to pay for a drink. Needless to say I gave my boss $1 in quarters in exchange for the pennies Most are pretty nasty but there are a few rather nice coins.
