  1. Wow. Where did you find/buy it?? Seems too good to be true.
  2. Does it say anywhere on the coin that it's a reproduction?
  3. GX, I love the questions you ask. I'm sorry I can't answer them. That first 1 fen, is it me or is the obverse a late die stage strike? The details are weak.
  4. Hi Christine, Welcome to the forum. I can't personally help you with your questions but I'm sure someone can. Thanks for sharing your medals!
  5. That's excellently done, GX. I know it takes a lot of work to collect the coins, photograph them, and make that album. Seeing all of the coins side by side gives me a much greater appreciation of the coinage metal colors, the sizes, the shapes, etc. Two follow-on questions: 1) I know that it wouldn't have the veracity of an album, but did you ever consider having the obverse and reverse on the same "page" so you can see both at the same time? 2) Have you considered selling your services to make similar books for other people? TDP
  6. Congrats, GX! The link you posted redirects to this page! I'd love to see the collection!
  7. Welcome to Coinpeople! I don't have any information on it, but I think it is a gorgeous medal. I think it's odd how they reversed the order of the dates.
  8. Hi Simon, I can't answer your question but I hope someone else here can. Sounds like quite the find! THEDEADPOINT
  9. Welcome to Coinpeople! I've never heard of those coins before. Can you share some pictures of them here?
  10. A lot of great tokens shared. I hope you had a great thanksgiving.
