Mark Stilson
I missed the larger one awhile back. But I wondering if any body is in the Houston,Texas area and going to go to this one?
Mark Stilson
Well, let see. 10 fingers, less booths then fingers. Did pick up a 1893 cc. Okay its not in the best shape, but for right now it does fill a year slot. Did get it a significantly less the Nusmedia fmv price. Also got a Allen/Mallis Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars Encyclypedia.

Guest Stujoe
Sounds like a small show but glad you came away with a couple of things!
Mark Stilson
Thing about it, I ended up buying from the 1893 from the coin dealer I normally go to. One dealer I'll need to be ready for next time has a lot of halves. Also several browsing folders full of cents, nickels, dimes, quarters. I just did not have my need list for those handy. There were some real nice early dollars there. Not super proofs but real nice coins.
Dan769
Holy smokes, a $2 door charge for a 9 table show!!! Wow that takes a pair. Anyway a 93-CC is my favorite CC Morgan date. Do you have any pics yet? Sounds like a nice catch. Dan
Mark Stilson
The 93 cc is a lower grade one. But it does get me one coin away from completing a year set for morgans. Tilted right mint mark
Dan769
Nice coin, that I think is tough to find in most grades. I just don't see that many at the local shows.
Mark Stilson
There was one other 1893 there but definantly out of my price range.
Scottishmoney
I can remember going to shows at the Adams Mark Hotel that probably had about 100 dealers, no door charge, and I could pick up $20 gold pieces for about $25 over melt. That was about 12-13 yrs ago though.
