For you silver nuts out there here are the numbers on these coins:

64 roos is 2.5g and 90% silver, that is 2.25g silver

43 jefff is 5g and 35% silver, that is 1.75g silver

41 walker and 60 frank are each 12.5g and 90% silver, that is 11.25g of silver each.

Thats 26.5g of silver or 0.825 Troy ounces.

1 Troy Ounce ~ 31.1g

1 Troy Ounce silver = $9.86 (current spot)

1 gram silver ~ $0.32

Our curent high bid is $3.87, more then $5 below melt on these. Thank you everyone for your bids so far.

[Edit, thanks to Jeff for pointing out my confusing troy ounce with ounce]

Don't mean to get technical with you Bobby, but silver and other precious metals are sold by the troy ounce which is 31.1 grams, so the 26.5g in these coins is only 0.852 troy ounces, so your total melt value is slightly overstated.

I believe 33 bits is equal to my previous bid of $4 1/8.

I agree. If I am correct that a bit is 1/8 then yes they are equal bids.

jtryka is our current high bidder at $4.125

Gosh this is fun and a little :ninja: but it's a good exercise for all of us.

So I'll up the ante a bit.

I say 35 bits.
