undated (1940's) China.  2 cents and 5 cents.

 

listed as #P-S1452 (H3-2) and #P-S1453 (H3-3).  not sure what all that means, but that is what Ron Wise's site says.

From the name of the bank, I would think that they were issued in Hainan Island (just south of Kwangsi) in early 1949.

 

However, I have seen quite a few of them (and only in UNC), so I think that they might have actually been unissued notes which then got dumped on the numismatic market.

The PS numbers are from Pick's Specialized catalogue, where they are listed in the Provincial area. The China section is divided into Foreign Banks in China, Provincial banks, and Communist Banks. The H numbers refer to Smith and Matravers book on Chinese Paper Money, which was the first English-language book on Chnese paper money. Most of this issue is common, but some are decidedly scarce.
