to make a little correction- star notes are separate series that are printed, and used to replace bills that have mistakes which are noticed. They are not reprinted with the same serial number with the star added. However, at times bills would be reprinted with the same serial numbers, but these replacements were not star bills.

Jordan notes of this series have the date on the back- both AH and AD years.

I have a $5 US Bill with "Hotel International, Karachi" (Pakistan), stamped on it, and several Hong Kong notes from one collection with a red "Kuang" stamped on the top right margin of the back, as well as Chinese notes of several denominations which have stamped characters, including one counterfeit with a stamped character.
